Mikayla got her 2 month shots

Steve took Mikayla to get her shots the day after her 2 month birthday. Her father says she was very good, considering the circumstances. She did not even realize that she got her first shot. However, she did notice the next three. She cried just for a little bit, but once she got her bottle she was fine. She gets her next set of shots in July. Her mother gets to attend this round. Hopefully the next set will go as smoothly as the last set.

We went to an Arts and crafts fair with Mimi and Papa Evans in Austin on May 1st. Miki was pretty much passed out the whole time after she had a bottle. 

Miki is all ready for her day in the Sun.  

We were happy that Dave could come help us for four days by taking care of Miki during the workday 

Miki is chilling on the couch with a friend of hers, Nathan, the son of our friends' Laura and Gary. Nathan was born 3 days after Mikayla. Maybe they will be friends as long as Todd Malicoat and I have been. Todd and my parents met at the hospital while Todd and I were being born. Laura and Lindsey have been friends for several years and now they are both new mothers!
