Easter 2009. We went to Mimi and Papa's house. We had a blast! We got to go to a cave, do a little shopping, go on a walk, dye eggs, decorate cookies, read books with Mimi and Papa, play dinosaurs with Papa, draw Mimi some pictures, watch the new Hannah Montana movie, go to church for Easter Service, eat a wonderful Easter Lunch, and go to a Round Rock Express Minor League Baseball game. AND most of all...we got to spend time together!!!

Evan and Miki both smiled...Evan is actually happy in this picture.

Here we are in a field of Bluebonnets, the Texas state wildflower. It is very difficult to get a group shot...we all had to smile and look at the camera. Plus the camera was balanced on my camera bag...not the best tripod.

Yes, that is Easter candy in Evan's hands. That was his idea...not ours.

Egg decorating

When Evan decorated his cookies, he got a little carried away with the sprinkles.

The kids had fun seeing what the Easter Bunny gave them.

Easter Egg hunt!! We went to a church Spring Festival. They had an Easter Egg Hunt, Trackless Train, Moon Bounces, Cookie Decorating, and flower planting. We all had a blast, even though it was soooooo cold!

Once Evan got started egg hunting (he was not sure he wanted to get the eggs)...he would not stop. He was only allowed to get 10 eggs. He wanted to fill his entire basket up with eggs...about 30 of them fit in his basket. I am the meanest Mother ever for removing the extra eggs.

We went spelunking!! That is cave exploring for those of you that don't know. We had a blast! The cave is close to my parents' house--and it was really neat! Evan kept saying "Batman in there!" We have not idea that he knew that Batman lived in caves. Children are amazing on what they pick up on their own.

Our fellow spelunkers.

Here are some stalactites (grow downward) and stalagmites (grow upward from the ground).
