We went to an "Eighties Dance" at our church, back in February. Everyone had a great time. I just never put the pictures up. So here are some old pictures from February. There are also more current pictures from June when we went to a concert in the park.

Miki definately got into her flash dance role.

I am not sure where Miki learned break dance moves, but they were really funny!

Jacob fianlly gave in and danced with Miki

Miki is taking a break after all that dancing.

Evan was barely walking when this picture was taken. It is amazing how 6 months ago Evan could not walk. Now he runs everywhere he wants to go.

Our city puts on free concerts in the park during May and June. We were able to go to one of them. A good time was had by all. (even though the music was really awful--some sort of international jazz music--YUCK!)

Miki is getting down to the music.

Miki enjoys shaking her bootie while she dances.

I was doing the dishes in the kitchen, and there is a short wall seperating the kids' downstairs play area from the kitchen, so I could not see what the kids were up to. It was really quiet on the other side of the wall. When I went to check on the kids, I found them covered in stickers. It was so cute. I just had to take pictures.
Notice how even Evan's sippy cup has stickers.

I taught Vacation Bible School this summer and had a blast. Miki was able to participate in the three year old VBS class. She had a great time. Here are some pictures of the VBS kids performing the songs they learned. Miki is behind the microphone, towards the left of the picture. When Evan turns 3, he can be in a VBS class.

When the kids were done singing, Miki would not let go of the microphone. All the other kids were leaving the stage, but Miki wanted to sing an encore. It was so cute. The preacher was laughing and I finally had to coax her off the stage. One of the mom's asked me if my daughter was going to be the next American Idol.
