Miki had her 5th Birthday in March. We all had a great time. My big girl will be starting kindergarten in a couple of weeks!! I can't believe it!! It seems like yesterday I was bringing Mikayla Kathleen home from the hospital in College Station. Now she is such a big girl. She is no longer a baby--and she is the first to tell you that. Miki is so outgoing. She loves to meet new people-however she may not remember their names-she still loves to meet them. Miki LOVES all kids, especially younger kids. She loves to act like a mother. Miki is a HUGE fan of the arts. This includes Miki's love for drawing, coloring, dance, gymnastics, singing, and of course acting. Miki just got chosen for her dance studio's Junior Dance Company. We could not be more proud of her.
When school starts, Miki will ride to the high school with Mommy (Mommy teaches at the local high school). Then she will catch the bus from the high school to her elementary school. Miki can not wait to ride the bus. When she sees a school bus, she tries to guess and see if she will be riding that particular bus. My baby girl is turning into a big girl in front of my eyes, and it is still hard to believe.

We had a "Backyardigans" themed party in our backyard. "Backyardigans" is a children's television show.

We played "pin the tail on the donkey."

It is Daddy's turn to "pin the tail on the donkey."

Daddy did really good! Yea Dad!

Present time!
